Lahore Smart City

Lahore Smart City is the first smart city in Lahore and the second in the country. It is brought to you by the esteemed Habib Rafiq (Pvt.) Limited (HRL) and Future Developments Holdings (Pvt.) Limited (FDHL) that successfully delivered Capital Smart City Islamabad. The Master Planner for this project is the Singaporean-goverment owned consultancy company Surbana Jurong (SJ) that focuses on infrastructure and urban development projects.


Lahore Smart City was launched in 2020 and is currently under development. It is an LDA approved project that is poised to become a model for sustainable development in Lahore. It boasts smart features such as intelligent buildings with energy usage monitoring, automated traffic control with smart traffic lights, renewable energy resources, smart utility metering, etc. 


Investors can choose from a variety of plot sizes; 5, 7, 10, 12 and 20 marla are available for the construction of residential homes. Project hallmarks for Lahore Smart City include a grand mosque, an international standard theme park, Silicon Valley (IT and technological hub) and healthcare, education and sports districts. 


The society is located on the Lahore Bypass which is accessible through the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway, the M2 Motorway and GT Road. It is 40 minutes from Allama Iqbal Airport and DHA Lahore.

The foundation-laying ceremony for Dolmen Mall took place in Lahore, Pakistan, on Friday 13 September. Directors Chris Lanksbury and Xavier Grau, with Architect Pierre Cnops, attended the ceremony and outlined the design concept for this new retail and leisure destination to the assembled 450 guests. A 75,000m2 GLA luxury shopping centre located within the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) grounds in Lahore, Dolmen Mall will offer three levels of shopping, a food court on the upper floor, a hypermarket on the ground floor and two levels of basement parking for 2,000 cars. The design uses traditional Islamic patterns on perforated contemporary surfaces, employing geometrical shapes to stunning effect.
